Communications Strategist

With more than 25 years of experience spanning all aspects of internal and external communications, Barbara brings expertise in strategic planning, brand positioning, copywriting and collateral development to the Albert Communications team.

She’s known for establishing close working partnerships, identifying effective approaches, ensuring solid execution and delivering meaningful results. (To say she’s a perfectionist would be an understatement.)

Barbara has held senior management positions with several leading corporations and communications agencies. She served as Director of Corporate Communications at Rosenbluth International, with responsibility for public relations, advertising, internal communications and client communications across 25 countries.

At Electronic Payment Services, she was charged with building the public relations department for the leading electronic funds processor in the US. Earlier in her career, Barbara was an Account Group Supervisor at Golin/Harris Communications and an Account Executive at Elkman Advertising & Public Relations, spending a combined nine years on the McDonald’s Restaurants business, among other accounts.

She has received multiple honors for her work, including the National Communicators Award, two Philadelphia Business Marketing Association Bell Ringer Gold Awards, three International Best Bets Awards from McDonald’s Corporation, and four Pepperpot Awards from the Public Relations Society of America, who also presented her with the DeAnn White Award for Community Service.

Barbara earned her BA degree in art from Penn State University.
