When there’s a non-profit that does great things, but no one knows about it, it’s a problem. The Hebrew Free Loan Society of NY was in that position. Changing lives daily for over 120 years, its fan base had shrunk, so donations were slowing down, even when the need for their interest-free loans was increasing at a rapid rate.
We looked at their materials, their web site, their communications, and all of it was stale. They looked like a 120-year old organization. We re-vamped everything from the way they looked to the way they communicated. To call it a facelift is an understatement. We were able to stay true to their core values, but modernize their look and increase their communications to their potential borrowers and donors. A new Facebook page, Twitter feed, and LinkedIn page were also a part of the mix.
The new look invigorated the organization from the inside out. Not only did the employees get a boost of energy, but the organization was able to reach a wider base of potential donors, especially a younger crowd who helped propel them into their next 120 years
