The last of our series is about evaluating, measuring and improving your digital marketing efforts. Keep in mind that although these posts are focused on accounting firms, they work for attorneys, law firms, medical offices, and other professional services providers, too. Everyone appreciates a good ROI on any investment; clients demand it. With digital marketing, the data tells the story. And what a good story it has to tell! Here are three solid tools to prove ROI on your marketing efforts: (1) HotJar – HotJar offers the ability to create Heat Maps and also watch video recordings of your customers as they click throughout your website. You actually see the mouse move around your site to discover which links they click and how they browse your web page! Yea, it’s a little “big brother,” but kind of cool, isn’t it? (2) Google Analytics – You can’t manage what you can’t measure, and Google Analytics allows you to measure EVERYTHING on your website. It’s free, easy and might be just right for your needs. (3) HubSpot – HubSpot Analytics provides in-depth details and insights across multiple tools. You get reporting analytics from your blog, landing pages, social media, email outreach and can group all of it inside a collective “campaign” report. HubSpot is in investment, we know, but to try it for a year will make you a believer. We use it ourselves, and can attest to its greatness.
